Alchemy Firepits were conceptualised during level 4 lockdown in New Zealand, in the middle of a global pandemic. Inside our bubble, we protected ourselves and disconnected from the world of human touch and connection on a physical level, with anyone outside our bubble. Instead…life resumed on-line as we zoomed around the world in our need to connect.

As time moved on, so did my need to re-connect and I discovered that connection was at the very core of my being, the heart of my soul…it always had been. The firepit for me is a place of connection, sitting around the flames in the New Zealand outdoors, a guitar in one hand, a perfect glass of wine, and laughing, talking, late into the night…about things that matter most, with people that matter most.

The first firepit manufactured for clients in the Isle of Man referenced this connection –

Sometime later, during a crazy surreal crisis… Alchemy Firepits was born.

Fire is the root of alchemy. Without fire, there can be no alchemy, Fire is to alchemy as blood is to life. Indeed, without the fire within, there can be no life. The alchemist is a Master of Fire, and creates magic. Alchemy is also referred to as THE ART, it is the art of connecting to ones higher self.

Connection for everyone means different things, so we have created the ability to customise the rim with a quote that has meaning, creating a personal connection and igniting some inspiration.
